Crescent is a research associate in interactive virtual and augmented reality. He is a member of the REVEAL and CAMERA research groups. He completed a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Bath with Prof. Eamonn O’Neill and Dr. Karin Petrini. His work focused on investigating the relationship between emotions, agency, perspective and presence within VR environments.
Current projects include an investigation of feed-forward learning in badminton and tennis, adaptive VR gaming, the use of eye tracking and physiological data investigate effects of fatigue on performance, and the interaction between technical and human factors in the formation of presence in VR environments.
