Research Assistant Aastha Gupta University of Bath REVEAL Centre

Aastha is a Research Assistant in REVEAL who has recently graduated with a BSc (Hons.) Psychology degree from the University of Bath and an avid interest in Human-Computer Interaction. During her previous internship at the HCI lab she worked on Dominic Potts’ paper RetroSketch: A Retrospective Method for Measuring Emotions and Presence in Virtual Reality, which is under review for CHI 2024. Her undergraduate dissertation, titled “How AI Met Your Doctor: How Diagnosis Severity and ADHD Traits Shape Choices in Healthcare” focused on understanding individual differences in healthcare decision-making, specifically when it comes to choosing advice from a human versus an AI provider.
