Cameron is a Postdoctoral Research Associate working in the field of human-computer interaction. His research focuses on novel interaction techniques, tangible interfaces, and shape-changing technologies.

At Bath, Cameron is working on the ERC grant FORCE-UI where his research aims to radically increase the expressivity of touchscreen-based interactions with deformable force modalities. Previously his PhD thesis focused on enhancing digital art and design technology with new tangible augmentations such as mobiles that feel like paint or modular screens for colour exploration.

He’s also presented academic papers in world-leading conferences such as CHI and MobileHCI, collaborated with BBC R&D, and was a past finalist in EPSRC Nation of Pioneers.
